ChatGPT re-categorized the author's industry-research project into different delegation strategies.

How it went

ChatGPT's response helped the author re-divide task authority: research purpose as joint decision (Augmentation), information gathering primarily Agency, technical implementation as strong Agency, etc. ChatGPT also proactively identified two shortcomings: ① insufficient Agency on technical details, often returning solvable choices to the user; ② insufficient depth in Augmentation on important judgments, often closing discussion with shallow "Option A/B, do you agree?" prompts. This site has not tested the workflow. Five elements of a delegation agreement (summarized from source): goal / autonomy scope / resource boundaries / completion and stop conditions / feedback mechanism. Key limitation: true Agency includes "autonomous stopping" — when leads are low-value or evidence is insufficient, the AI should proactively propose shelving the task instead of continuously generating busywork. Publish authorization requires separate confirmation: "allowed to research" does not automatically imply "allowed to publish on my behalf".
