You get
Auto-generate script, visuals, audio, captions and publishing status from a topic input
You need
n8n · google-sheets · google-drive · runwayml · elevenlabs · creatomate · replicate

Constraints

Requires n8n instance (self-hosted or cloud), Google OAuth2 credentials, and API keys for Anthropic, OpenAI, RunwayML, ElevenLabs, Creatomate, and Replicate. Import workflow.json, then replace YOUR_API_TOKEN per node name and configure credentials. Optional direct YouTube upload needs additional Google YouTube OAuth.

What they did

LeeWei published this workflow template (8290) on the n8n official template gallery. The template triggers via Google Sheets webhook, uses an Anthropic AI Agent to write a 213-223 character short-video script, parses structured output and splits into scenes; OpenAI generates image prompts and images, RunwayML Gen3a Turbo animates images into video clips; ElevenLabs produces background sound and Adam voice-over; Creatomate merges audio and video, Replicate adds captions; final output uploads to Google Drive with optional direct YouTube upload, and the sheet status is updated. The workflow.json contains 56 nodes including multi-platform publishing branches (TikTok/Instagram/YouTube/LinkedIn).

How it went

Author claims setup takes about 15-20 minutes, and after importing the JSON you only need to edit API tokens and credentials; script length is optimized for ~20-second short hooks. (Author report, not tested by this site.)

Worth knowing

Anthropic Chat Model and OpenAI Chat Model1 are marked disabled=true in workflow.json and must be manually enabled before use. Multi-platform publishing nodes (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn) are empty HTTP Request shells in the source—specific endpoints and parameters must be supplied by the user. The actual system/user prompts inside AI Agent and LLM Chain nodes are not exposed in the source and cannot be directly copied. RunwayML, Creatomate, and Replicate are paid APIs; actual cost depends on generation volume.

n8n workflow template

Structure checked · Not run-tested

Use “Import from File” in n8n, or copy the JSON and paste it into the editor. Connect your own accounts, then try test data. The template is inactive by default.

Setup and test checklist

Credentials to connect

  • After import, connect your own credentials on auth-required nodes; author secrets are not included.

Configuration to replace

  • Source template is n8n public workflow #8290 (~56 nodes). Keep inactive after import; verify triggers, expressions and external API endpoints.
  • Sticky-note guidance is informational; replace placeholders with your own accounts, sheet schemas or channel IDs.

Test input and expected output

  • Manually run the main path once in a test workspace and confirm credentialed nodes authenticate without errors.
  • Drive one synthetic/redacted sample through and check output fields and downstream writes before enabling in production.

Template changes

  • Author credential bindings, webhookId and execution data are removed; the workflow is inactive. Nodes, connections and original prompts are preserved. Not run-tested in n8n.
  • No business-logic edits; verify keys, quotas and privacy compliance before use.

Steps

  1. Configure trigger and Google credentials

Import workflow.json into n8n. Confirm the webhook URL in the Webhook node. Configure existing Google OAuth2 credentials in the Google Sheets and Google Drive nodes. Clone the demo sheet (ID: 1Co9tTJelYyefLLxzkoOhUBU3XuQIspBpDudtZLynW2M) and update the sheet ID in the Update Video Status node; adjust folder IDs in Upload to Drive nodes for custom storage.

  2. Configure AI model credentials

Paste your Anthropic API key into the Anthropic Chat Model node credentials. Add your OpenAI API key to the OpenAI Chat Model node credentials. Note: Anthropic Chat Model and OpenAI Chat Model1 are marked disabled=true in workflow.json; enable as needed and verify language model connections.

  3. Configure media generation service credentials

Replace YOUR_API_TOKEN in the Authorization headers of the Generate Videos and Get Generated Videos HTTP nodes with your RunwayML token. Swap YOUR_API_TOKEN in the xi-api-key headers of Generate Audio (Background sound) and Text to Speech (Adam Voice) nodes with your ElevenLabs key. Update YOUR_API_TOKEN in the Authorization header of Render Video with Creatomate with your Creatomate token. Insert YOUR_API_TOKEN in the Authorization header of Add Captions - replicate with your Replicate token.

  4. (Optional) Enable direct upload and multi-platform publishing

For direct YouTube uploads, add Google YouTube OAuth credentials to the Upload Video node. The workflow.json includes TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn HTTP nodes for multi-platform publishing, but parameters are empty—supply corresponding platform API endpoints and auth yourself. Test with a sample row via Webhook before full runs.

Prompt you can copy

Setup guidance · Editorial suggestion。Hand to setup assistant; confirm inputs and permissions first

This block is the prompt. Ads are never placed here.

You are an n8n workflow setup assistant. The user has imported workflow.json and needs to complete credential configuration by node name. First confirm the user has API keys for: Anthropic, OpenAI, RunwayML, ElevenLabs, Creatomate, Replicate, plus Google OAuth2. Then guide them to fill credentials in the corresponding nodes, reminding them not to hardcode secrets into prompts or chat—use n8n's secure Credentials storage. Finally suggest triggering the Webhook with a test row to verify the full pipeline.

Locate credential fields by node name; check disabled nodes before testing
