n8n AI Content Generation for Auto Service — Social Media Automation Template

From scheduled trigger or Google Sheets input, through AI-generated text and image, auto-publish to Telegram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X

Some experienceStepsWorkflowPrompt
Who
Auto repair shops, small garages, car service businesses, and marketers looking to automate social media operations
You get
Automatically generate and publish daily auto-service social posts with images, reducing content creation time
You need
n8n · telegram · tavily · google-sheets

Constraints

Import the official n8n template, configure OpenAI API credentials and social accounts, choose a trigger mode (scheduled/manual/sheet), and activate the workflow. Requires an n8n instance and credentials: telegramApi, googleSheetsTriggerOAuth2Api, openAiApi, tavilyApi; optional: mistralCloudApi, openRouterApi, etc. Defaults to gpt-4.1 for text and gpt-image-1 for images.

What they did

Author n8ner published an auto-service social media automation template (ID 4600) on the n8n template library. The template contains 50 nodes with a core flow: one of three triggers initiates the workflow → AI Agent (GENERATE TEXT) uses Tavily search to generate auto-service themed posts → a second AI Agent (GENERATE PROMPT) converts the post to an image prompt → OpenAI gpt-image-1 generates a matching image → Split Out distributes to Telegram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X. The template also includes unconnected backup nodes for multiple LLMs (Mistral, Anthropic, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Ollama, Azure OpenAI) and image APIs (Freepik, Runware, Ideogram, Replicate, etc.).

How it went

The author states the template helps auto-service businesses maintain an active online presence and reduce content creation time. Default configuration uses ChatGPT 4.1 and GPT Image 1, which the author describes as smooth and effective. The template has 53,403 views as of collection date. No specific conversion rates or customer growth data provided. (author_report)

Worth knowing

1) The template includes multiple unconnected nodes (backup LLMs and image APIs); only connect what you need. 2) The Telegram node uses sendPhoto with a caption; watch platform length limits. 3) Google Sheets Trigger monitors fixed range A2:A10—adjust if your sheet differs. 4) LinkedIn node requires a person or organization ID. 5) The original template workflow.json contains a suspected credential in the "Freepik API" node (n8n-nodes-base.httpRequest): the headerParameters include x-freepik-api-key with a plaintext value. Users must remove this value and replace it with their own credential after importing. Do not assert it is a "public demo key" without proof; this deliverable does not repeat the original value. 6) The image generation prompt explicitly instructs not to write text on the image (DONT WRITE TEXT ON A PICTURE).

Structure checked · Not run-tested

Use “Import from File” in n8n, or copy the JSON and paste it into the editor. Connect your own accounts, then try test data. The template is inactive by default.

Setup and test checklist

Credentials to connect

  • Freepik node: replace __UKH_FREEPIK_API_KEY__ with your Freepik API key.
  • Node “Ideogram API”: replace __UKH_API_KEY_33__ with the real Authorization/API key (was '<apiKey>').
  • Node “Replicate API”: replace __UKH_BEARER_34__ with the real Authorization/API key (was 'Bearer $REPLICATE_API_TOKEN').
  • Node “Imagen Google API”: replace __UKH_BEARER_35__ with the real Authorization/API key (was 'Bearer $(gcloud auth print-access-token)').
  • Node “HuggingFace API”: replace __UKH_HF_TOKEN__ with the real Authorization/API key (was 'Bearer <Token>').
  • Node “Runway Images”: replace __UKH_RUNWAY_TOKEN__ with the real Authorization/API key (was 'Bearer {{ YOUR API KEY }}').
  • Node “Minimax Images”: replace __UKH_BEARER_43__ with the real Authorization/API key (was 'Bearer {api_key}').
  • Node “Kling Images”: replace __UKH_BEARER_44__ with the real Authorization/API key (was 'Bearer YOUR_TOKEN_HERE').
  • telegram node: connect Telegram Bot Token.
  • googleSheetsTrigger node: connect Google Sheets OAuth2 credentials.
  • lmChatGoogleGemini node: connect Google OAuth2 credentials as required.
  • httpRequest node: connect HTTP/API keys per node headers or query params.
  • lmChatAzureOpenAi node: connect OpenAI API credentials.

Configuration to replace

  • Source template is n8n public workflow #4600 (~50 nodes). Keep inactive after import; verify triggers, expressions and external API endpoints.
  • Sticky-note guidance is informational; replace placeholders with your own accounts, sheet schemas or channel IDs.

Test input and expected output

  • Manually run the main path once in a test workspace and confirm credentialed nodes authenticate without errors.
  • Drive one synthetic/redacted sample through and check output fields and downstream writes before enabling in production.

Template changes

  • Author credential bindings, webhookId and execution data are removed; the workflow is inactive. Nodes, connections and original prompts are preserved. Not run-tested in n8n.
  • No business-logic edits; verify keys, quotas and privacy compliance before use.
  • Fixed mojibake in the Execute workflow trigger connection key so it matches the node name; no business-logic change.
  • Replaced 7 literal Authorization/API key placeholders with __UKH_*__ tokens for secret scanning; connection-key encoding fixed.
  • Removed literal Freepik FPSX… key from source; replaced with __UKH_FREEPIK_API_KEY__.

Steps

  1. Configure AI and search credentials

Add OpenAI API Key (for text and image generation) and Tavily API Key (for real-time search) in n8n credentials. Optionally add Mistral, OpenRouter, or other backup model credentials.

  2. Connect social platforms and optional data source

Configure Telegram Bot Token (send photo with caption), and Facebook/LinkedIn/X accounts for auto-publishing. For sheet-triggered posts, add Google Sheets OAuth2 and specify range A2:A10.

  3. Edit the text generation prompt

In the GENERATE TEXT node, the system message defines the auto-service brand agent role and output specifications. Customize the systemMessage for your brand voice while preserving the Tavily search instruction for timeliness.
