What they did
User racork asked Muse to add up hiking distance and elevation from their Apple workouts. Muse requested permission to access app data and completed the task immediately after authorization.
How it went
Author report: Muse succeeded in summarizing the data, while Siri failed the same request in the same test. (author_report)
Worth knowing
The permission request is a system-level behavior; users cannot pre-configure which HealthKit data categories to share. Source does not specify output format, support for other workout types, or retry behavior on failure. Not tested by this site.
