Constraints

Describe your trip needs in Muse (dates, destinations, budget, preferences), provide payment details, and let the agent explore options and complete the booking. The author recommends limiting agent scope rather than letting it plan an entire week-long vacation.

What they did

JacobColling replied on X that he used Muse to book a Thanksgiving flight and rental car that day. He gave Muse constraints, preferences, and payment information, and the agent explored all options and handled the actual booking.

How it went

The author said the experience was great ('it was great') and that letting the agent handle the implementation was very nice ('letting it do the implementation was very nice'). — author_report, no quantitative data.

Worth knowing

The author explicitly stated he does not want the agent to book an entire week-long vacation for him ('I dont want it to book a whole week long vacation for me'), suggesting limiting the agent to specific tasks. The source did not specify Muse version, platform (App/Web), how payment info was entered, specific prices, or airlines/rental companies. Since the agent can use payment info to complete transactions, financial authorization risk exists; consider enabling any confirmation or spending-limit features the platform offers.

Steps

  1. Enter travel requirements in Muse

Open Muse and describe your Thanksgiving travel needs: origin, destination, date range, number of travelers, budget constraints, and any airline or vehicle preferences. Provide payment information that can be used for booking.

  2. Review the agent's proposal and authorize booking

Muse will explore available flight and rental car combinations. Check that flight times, prices, and rental terms match your expectations, then authorize the agent to complete the booking.
