Steps

1. Safety tip

   Safety tip: before the bot changes an account, grants access, or connects an external service, confirm the permission scope.

2. Check subscription and install the client

   Visit https://x.ai/bot and verify your plan includes Grok Bot. As of 2026-10-26, new unified personal monthly plans are Premium $30, Super $100, Ultra $200, all include Bot access; Plus does not. Legacy Cursor/SuperGrok/X Premium+ users should check existing access before buying again. Download and install the client, log in, and confirm the sidebar shows New Bot or +.

3. Create a Bot and send the topic-scout prompt

   In the sidebar, click New Bot or + and create a clearly scoped Bot (e.g., X Topic Scout). Send the prompt below to the Bot, replacing [my domain] and [account list, keywords, official sites] with your actual values.

4. Review the first report, correct errors, and save the spec

   After the Bot returns the report, spot-check at least: do links support the claims? Are event times confused with article publish times? Is the same event split into multiple topics? Are promotions or predictions written as facts? Are fabricated first-person experiences inserted? Give specific corrections, e.g., item 2 is an old reshuffle and should move to background; item 3 is only author testimony and needs a primary link. Once stable, ask the Bot to summarize the approved workflow into a short spec and save it.

5. Turn the workflow into a Routine

   After the one-off task works smoothly, open the Bot details page, find Routines, and save the prompt below as the routine instruction. Set it to run daily at 09:00 Beijing Time, including weekends. After saving, verify the instruction, time, timezone, and enabled status. You can use Test for an immediate run, but it consumes quota; test with safe inputs first.
