Steps

1. Check prerequisites and costs

   Verify you have a Grok Bot account with valid entitlement (blue check does not replace bot entitlement). Confirm the ClawBot plugin entry exists in your WeChat; if not, do not proceed. Budget: Grok Bot Premium ~$30/month; wx-bot is open-source but runtime consumes quota.

   Safety tip: before the bot changes an account, grants access, or connects an external service, confirm the permission scope.

3. Send the WeChat entry setup task to Grok Bot

   Send the following task description in Grok Bot so it reads the wx-bot docs and returns an install plan. You must complete QR-code scan and key confirmation yourself; the bot will not log in for you.

4. Fill keys and bind WeChat via QR scan

   Use the clickable field links returned by the bot to enter the Webhook URL and Webhook key separately (key goes into an encrypted input, not plain chat). Then scan the QR code with WeChat to bind; QR codes expire in about two minutes—ask the bot to regenerate if needed. After binding, send “请回复：连接测试成功” in the ClawBot chat and confirm you receive the specified receipt in WeChat. Seeing only “程序已启动” does not mean the loop is working.

5. Send an article link to get a topic card

   For the first run, pick a short, publicly accessible article you can open yourself. Append the article URL after the following prompt and send both together to your WeChat assistant. After receiving the result, open the original link to verify: (1) the three key points appear in the article, and (2) the suggested angle fits your audience.

6. Troubleshooting and limitations

   No reply: ask the bot to check connection per wx-bot docs before reinstalling. Error no context_token: send a new message in ClawBot chat and retry. Login expired / -14: re-bind via QR scan. Worked briefly then stopped: may be due to cloud PC sleep, reset, or receiver stop; the project keep-alive checks every 10 minutes (144/day). Confirm frequency, recovery behavior, and cost before enabling. Reply received but content is wrong: verify reading scope—the bot may not have accessed the full article. Do not polish incorrect source material into a prettier card.
