Set a fixed morning time → Bot reads previous day's X bookmarks → auto-sorts into a reading list

BeginnerStepsTip
Who
Heavy X users who bookmark many posts and want a pre-sorted reading list the next morning
You get
When you sit down, the previous day's bookmarks are already sorted and ready to read
You need
Grok Bot

Constraints

Requires an X account, Grok Bot access, and bookmarks from the previous day. No prompt needed; configure the routine directly in the Bot. Sorting criteria and output format are handled by Bot defaults; author did not describe customization.

What they did

Author TheVexDex shared in a reply that they use Grok Bot with a fixed morning routine to automatically sort bookmarks accumulated the previous day.

How it went

The author reported that the sorted list is ready when you sit down ('so the list is ready when you sit down'). This is an author report, not verified by our testing.

Worth knowing

Source did not specify sorting criteria or tag system; output format (message/list/email) not described; X bookmark availability and Grok Bot permissions may vary by account/region; if no bookmarks were added the previous day, there will be nothing to sort.

Steps

  1. Set a fixed morning routine time

Set a fixed morning trigger time in Grok Bot. When that time arrives, the Bot will automatically execute the sorting.

  2. Bookmark throughout the day, check sorted results the next morning

Use X's bookmark feature on posts you want to revisit during the day. The next morning at your set time, Grok Bot will read those bookmarks and sort them into a reading list, ready when you sit down.
