Ask Grok Bot to Fill a Room with Its Memory of You

Send one prompt → Grok Bot generates a "memory room" image based on your X activity → see how well it knows you

Grok Bot

Constraints

No setup needed. Open a Grok Bot conversation, send the specified prompt, and wait for it to generate a room image with description. Results depend on the breadth of your prior interactions with the bot.

What they did

Author @ECalifornians sent the exact same prompt to multiple AI bots (Codex, Grok Bot, Muse) and compared the memory-room images each generated based on the user's interaction history.

How it went

Grok Bot produced a room dominated by election and campaign elements, which the author described as "too young," "too damn boring," and "basically a campaign machine." The author attributed this to their own recent X posts being mostly election-related, giving Grok Bot a narrow memory profile. (author_report)

Worth knowing

The depth of Grok Bot's memory portrait depends on the breadth of your interaction history with it on X; if recent topics are narrow, the result may be one-dimensional. The source does not specify how to access Grok Bot or whether a subscription (e.g., X Premium+) is required. In the author's comparison, Codex produced the richest portrait due to longest use, while Muse's room was tidy/unremarkable because ongoing projects had been explicitly removed. None of the bots appeared to hallucinate content.
