What they did

Celtics_EP shared a Grok Bot use case: copy a specific prompt to have the Bot check calendar and email every day at 8:45, automatically sending a short morning brief.

How it went

The author described it as 'actually useful' but provided no quantitative results.

Worth knowing

The source does not specify which calendar and email providers Grok Bot supports, nor describe the authorization flow, failure handling, or privacy data treatment. Whether the scheduled trigger is a built-in Grok Bot feature or requires external setup is also unclear.

Steps

  1. Before the first real run

Before the first real run, test with sample data and confirm with a human before any send/write/delete to external systems.

  2. Set up the Grok Bot morning brief routine

Open Grok Bot, paste the prompt below, and set it to run automatically every day at 8:45. Ensure the Bot has been authorized to access your calendar and email data before the first run.
