Steps

  1. Install the plugin

    Run the install command in your terminal, choosing the profile that matches your DSH environment (web or desktop). Restart Harness after installation.

  2. Type a draft in Composer

    Enter any prompt draft in the DSH Composer input box, even a single sentence. The enhance button does not appear when the box is empty.

  3. Click the whale-tail icon to enhance

    Click the whale-tail icon to the right of the input box and left of the model name. The plugin calls the current session model to rewrite the draft into a complete prompt with goal, output format, and constraints, replacing the Composer content in-place. The rewrite takes a few seconds depending on the model's response speed.

  4. Undo or cancel mid-flight

    If the result is unsatisfactory, press Ctrl+Z or click the undo arrow the button becomes to restore the original draft. If you change your mind during rewriting, click the icon again to cancel; the draft stays unchanged.

  5. Optional: adjust settings

    Go to Settings → Prompt Enhance to enable a fixed enhancement model, reference conversation context, reference Composer images, or set a keyboard shortcut (off by default). Context mode shows a small dot at the button's lower-right corner; turning it off makes the plugin read only the current draft.
