Install DSH Performance Statistics Plugin to View Call Timing
Install the performance-statistics plugin in DeepSeek Harness, send a message, and inspect stage timing pie charts and auxiliary model call details
- Who
- Users already running DeepSeek Harness (DSH) who need to diagnose call performance
- You get
- Open a statistics popup in the chat UI to view stage timing pie charts, auxiliary model call counts and durations, first-token wait time, and token usage
- You need
- DeepSeek
Constraints
Prerequisites: DSH 0.2.1 series deployed (verified on 0.2.1-rc.3). Install the plugin via DSH CLI, enable it in the plugin manager, then refresh the page. If you previously used the legacy stats feature in dsh-chat-enhancement, upgrade it to >=0.3.81 first to avoid conflicts.
What they did
The author developed the DSH Performance Statistics plugin, extracting stats functionality from dsh-chat-enhancement into a standalone release. It registers a stats button, projections, and services via the DSH public plugin API, providing popup visualizations in the chat UI.
How it went
The author reports the plugin was verified on DSH 0.2.1-rc.3 and can display stage timing pie charts, auxiliary model call details, first-token wait time, output speed, and token usage (author_report). Old session logs can be viewed without conversion.
Worth knowing
1) If dsh-chat-enhancement <=0.3.80 is installed, its built-in stats will conflict with this plugin over the same projection and button; upgrade chat-enhancement first. 2) Jev purpose/rule labels require dsh-jev-context-gate >=0.1.37; dsh-rabiroute-agent >=0.13.42 enables finer server-side step collection. 3) Unrecorded internal calls cannot be backfilled; old logs only show collected stages without inferring missing parts. 4) Timing data is kept in local session logs, no telemetry is uploaded, but review custom names for PII before sharing logs. 5) Finer collaborative input preprocessing names require host patches and optional services, and do not change Agent loop decisions. 6) This site has not tested installation or runtime; reproduction=not_tested.
Steps
Install the plugin
Run the install command in an environment with DSH CLI configured to add the performance-statistics plugin to the web profile.
Setup guidance · Source text。Run in DSH CLI terminal
dsh plugin --profile web add github:vb2250158/dsh-performance-statistics#v0.1.7
Enable and refresh the page
After installation, enable 'Performance statistics / 性能统计' in the DSH plugin manager, then reopen or refresh the web page.
Send a message and view statistics
Send a message in the chat interface and wait for the turn to complete. Then click the statistics button below the input box. A popup will show timing pie charts, stage breakdowns, per-auxiliary-model calls, first-output wait time, output speed, and token usage. You can click pie segments or the legend to filter stages, and expand auxiliary model cards for details.
