How it went

The author read 60 returned errors at random: about half were gaps (31/60), 16 overstated the source, and 35 misidentified the audience. 986 returns (over half) passed on the next try after targeted fixes.

Worth knowing

The most common error was not fabrication but omission—hard to spot because nothing on the page looks wrong. The author's first checker passed an empty document and obvious false claims, making step 6 essential. 12/60 errors had already slipped past one check, showing layered checks still have limits.
